SFAS - The Demon's Lair

The Demon rests in his abode, knowing he cannot leave, nor can those who challenge him. Due to my final year project taking all of my time, I only had 2 days to animate the power-up and attack animation, so I split up the times accordingly. I started with the attack animation and then moved onto the power-up, as the attack was the most important for me, to complete first. After this was near completion, I moved onto the power-up. These 2 animations in particular, could have done with a lot more time spent on them, but as mentioned before, my time was beyond limited.
At the start of the competition, I completed only the idle animation, before my uni project began to take up my time. Because of my short time span, I had to focus on getting the base animation in Unreal first, then adding polish as I go along. The environment assets was a free downloadable pack from Infinity Blade that looked very appealing with my character.
Although I'd say my animation is not completed how I wished it to be, I can now carry on animating these pieces, as all my deadlines are over, until the next couple of months, for my further module deadlines.
In my documentation, I explained my choice of character and why I chose to animate this. I wanted to create a DOOM styled feel, as both the game and my character, are similar in style, with hellish demon being the main topic.
